COVID 19

As COVID-19 has spread, so has misinformation – fueling discrimination and stigma. DOST is working with health experts to promote facts over fear, and bringing trustworthy guidance to parents, Distribution of PPE kit to the CORONA wariors.

Our goal is to relief to the people stuck in the cities and rural india in this lockdown. Rasan distribution to the people of local community. Face masks and sanitary pad distribution as hygiene initiatives.


Save River

We start a campaign for "Save River" by avoiding plastic plates on Chhat. instead of that we will supply Paper plates for local vendors and ask them to throw it in a dustbin, not to throw here and there to keep clean the river side specially on the pious Festival of Chhat Maha Parva.

Also we can aware divotees, not to use plastic bags and plastic water bottles, asking devotees to not dispose oil or plastic into the river. The same campaign will be taken by our trust DOST, Mr Rajkumar ji is taking responsibility to do it in Gaya.


No Baggars

No Baggars mission started under trust DOST on 15 January 2020 to abolish Beggars from India by providing them Shelter, Employment and a life with self respect. Many people who are beggars are physically and mentally fit to work, but they don’t, as they are used to getting easy money,”

We DOST employ them in cleaning and waste collection work. The idea is to get them work, and also make the city free from a social evil like begging.


No Corruption

Corruption in India is an issue which affects the economy of central, state and local government agencies in many ways. Not only has it held the economy back from reaching new heights, but rampant corruption has stunted the country's development.

DOST Also taking initiative to recognise and adopting a proactive and transparent approach to dealing with corruption.



Hariyali Pariyojana

Hariyali Program (Tree Plantation) was organised by DOST for environment protection, especially by doing plantation work to make our Mother Earth Green with school children's perception and support.

We want to create a world where man is a friend of trees, where environment is a part of our idea of development, as no great building can be built on a weak foundation


Environment

Concerns about the environment are growing around the world as governments, scientists, and activists are witnessing first-hand the devastating effects of climate change.

DOST taking proactive steps by tree plantation, solid waste management, cleaning rivers etc to help protect and heal natural areas.

DOST time to time organises Hariyali Program (Tree Plantation) in schools and near by areas for environment protection. Paper cups and plate Distributed to vendors for avoiding plastic use. time to time cleaning of rivers.



Clean Water

Diseases from dirty water kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. the country grapples with massive flooding in some states and on the other hand several other states reel under severe drought.

Water connects every aspect of life. Access to safe water and sanitation can quickly turn problems into potential – empowering people with time for school and work, and contributing to improved health for women, children, and families around the world.

DOST helps to solving water crisis by Hand Pump Installation, Digging well in several areas.


Livelihood

DOST working towards empowerment of Women, Children and other economically and socially deprived sections of society through addressing factors of exclusion and advancement of their entitlements.

DOST has been facilitator in Promoting micro Livelihood activities and vocational training to young girls on stitching, embroidery and computer training with focus on girls from minority community to enhance their skills of economic value to make them self relaint and live a life with confidence and pride.

We focus on improving access and control of women from marginalised communities over productive resources, services and opportunities; enhancing their food and nutrition security; and improving their abilities in climate change resilience.



Unemployment

Creating jobs for young people is a major challenge in India. In rural and urban areas, lack of skills, work experience, job search abilities and the financial resources are some of reason of unemployment.

DOST plays a major role in rural areas by providing training, capacity building of educated and untrained youth. we also running several tailoring/stitching training centers for women so that they can self employed after training.


Disaster Relief

When it comes to our country then we will find the number of states which are pathetically affected by these disasters. The state lies in the queue are Kashmir, Gujarat and Assam for floods, Manipur’s landslide, Gujarat for an earthquake, Indian Ocean Tsunami and many more states of the country which has come under the trap of natural calamities.

DOST provids disaster response & preparedness services across India. As a disaster relief agency, we help people to survive and rebuild their lives through food, medical, education, shelter and livelihood programs.

Having worked in several major disasters, we knew that immediate response is crucial for saving lives and helping the most vulnerable survivors.


Pollution

Air pollution in India is a serious health issue. DOST working towards empowering people to live healthier lives in a healthier environment. We provide solutions to the issue related environmental degradation & climate change. With over 10 years of experience, we drive social awareness and bring a change towards environmental protection and conservation.

DOST educating and empowering people from all walks of life about how they can make small changes in their daily life’s for clean and healthy environment and also contributes to the welfare of people working in the field of environment protection.


Education

DOST educational initiatives include Pre-school, Primery and Upper primery, and High Schools. It works for education for underprivileged children who are under difficult circumstances, such as child labour, children of poorest of the parents, children inflicted and affected with HIV/AIDS, street and runaway children, children with rare disabilities, disaster struck children and slum children. Special emphasis is given on girl education and women education, so that they and their families get empowered.

DOST runs several public schools affiliated to CBSE board. in this program, the trust provids books, school bag, school uniform etc to under priviledged children.
